Today we went on our annual trip to Beak and Skiff apple farm. It is a family favorite so we always like to invite "newbies" along. This year we were joined by our friends Kara and Zach and their two little ones Kylie and Cooper. Grandma and Grandpa were also able to join us for the 2nd (or maybe 3rd time). A good time was had by all and the weather held out nicely for us. Here is a picture of the kiddos with Grandma and Grandpa on the tractor ride to the trees. This was taken after we picked our apples...thus all the bags in the background. For the record, Samuel is not crying or in pain he is just sensitive to sunlight.

This was the first day to pick these trees so a ladder was completely unnecessary but so much fun.
Since these are Gavin's favorite he wanted to share one with me!
Samuel need a salty snack after eating about 4 apples, an apple fritter, an apple donut, mint fudge, and apple cider. No kernel was left uneaten!
...And of course the annual pony rides. Avery rode "Angel."
Samuel rode "Katie." Speaking of Samuel, he talked to his MeMaw (my mom) from Texas this week and said, "MeMaw, we're going apple picking this weekend. You can come too." She told him she would love to but she lives too far. Well as it turns out MeMaw should have listened to the wise Samuel. Instead she and PawPaw had to stay in Texas and wait for hurricane Ike to come. I bet apple picking would have been better!!!
