No matter what the day brings...sun, rain, school, shopping, sickness, or health...it is always ends with a sword fight. Samuel got these swords and shields 2 years ago for Christmas and has used them about every day since. He did have a period where they weren't played with but that seems like forever ago!
He has been watching the Chronicles of Narnia and wants to be like the brave "Peta" (which is his British accent for Peter). Avery enjoys being the White Witch from time to time too. Notice that the Peta has taken a few bites out of his sword.
We have rules in our house now for swords too. 1. You cannot hit anyone who doesn't know or agree to playing swords. 2. No poking other people in the eye intentionally with your sword (this has obviously been an issue). 3. If you can't find the swords......Mommy has had enough!
Samuel shows no restraint either! He tried to fight with a one -year-old the other day. "Samuel you should be ashamed." This is my friend Sam's baby Olivia!

So adorable! Excellent form! Now they just need a couple of horses...that would be so much fun!!!
If I recall, Avery has already requested a horse from Santa this year! I think we should have a sword fight at MOPS...that would be interesting
We have some oak swords at our apartment that Matt doesnt want to bring to AK...you know, if the kids are growing too old for the plastic ones!
